Oberdorfer pumps have been made in Syracuse, New York, USA, for more than 100 years. The company, now owned by Gardner Denver, makes a wide range of types of pumps for agricultural, industrial and marine.
Moses L. Oberdorfer made his first pumps in 1890 to lubricate internal combustion engines. The oil pump in the first commercial air-cooled aircraft engines were bronze gear pumps made by Oberdorfer.
